Often it seems the art of listening and understanding problems has been lost and swept up in the technological tidal wave to implement the "newest" or "latest" for their own sakes. Using the aforementioned technologies is worn as a badge of honour and prestige by those that wield them, though sadly many times at the expense of the need itself. While keeping pace with and utilizing supportable solutions is paramount, in the wrong hands they often result in unusable results that may be technically impressive in their design, but are effectively useless in their failure to meet the initial requirement.
